Rozanne Pegg
Rozanne started her ballet career at an early age in South Africa. She participated in International Competitions in London and Switzerland where she reached the semi finals. She has trained in both RAD and Cechetti methods and later the Vagavana method. Rozanne was awarded a years scholarship to attend the Australian Ballet School in Melbourne and thereafter joined Cape Town City Ballet where she spent six years dancing various corps de ballet and solo roles. These included Gypsey Queen (Don Quixote), Gamzatti (La Bayadere), Gypsey pas de deux (Camille), Peasant pas de deux (Giselle), Pas de Tois and Cygnets (Swan lake ), Clara and Chinese (Nutcracker), Evil fairy (Beauty and the Beast) and various other solo roles. After her performing career she received her Professional Dance Teachers Diploma with the Royal Academy of Dance in London. She began teaching at June Melville School of Dance and was there for three years. During that time she also completed her B. Prim Ed degree in early foundation phase and taught at various nursery schools.
